Q: Is Prescott University fully accredited?

A: Yes. Prescott is fully accredited by the United Collegiate College Association (UCCA) -- a professional accrediting body established to assess, monitor, and maintain excellence in international distance learning degree programmes throughout the world.

However, this accrediting body may not be recognised by all colleges, universities, or governmental bodies.

Q:  What are the precise steps I need to take in order to obtain my correspondence degree from Prescott University?

Q:  If an employer requests a copy of my official transcript, do you send them one?

A:  Yes. We will send a "sealed transcript" directly to your employer, or, if you prefer, we can send it directly to you. There is a small charge for this service.

Q:   Are there any residential requirements to receive my degree?

A:   No, there are no country residential requirements.

Q:   What is the maximum amount of time I have to complete my degree?

A:  • Bachelor degree:                   (120 credit units)  72 Months

      • Master degree:                      (  45 credit units)  48 Months

      • Doctoral degree:                   (  60 credit units)  72 Months

Q: How does it work when someone enquires about the authenticity of my diploma and transcript?

A: Prescott University will confirm the degree awarded, its date, and its subject. In most cases, this information is all anyone needs to substantiate the validity and substance of your degree. Our support staff is available 365 days a year at: support [at] PrescottUniversity.co.uk.

Q:  Are you accredited by the Western Association of Schools and Colleges?

A:  No. We are not accredited by the Western Association of Schools and Colleges. Likewise, many schools in the world are also not accredited by this particular association. Why? Because, as of yet, there are no worldwide agreed upon standards for accreditation.

Q:  Who designates Prescott's distance learning programmes?

A: Over 10 years ago, Prescott University formed a strategic educational alliance with Teaching Solutions Ltd, whose sole purpose was to oversee and approve all aspects of course development and implementation related to each and every distance learning programme offered by Prescott University.

Q:  Does Prescott University come under the purview of AICTE, UGC or AIU, and is it directly regulated by UK or other governmental agencies?

A: Being a private, secular university, Prescott does not come under the purview of AICTE, UGC or AIU. Therefore, its degrees are not directly regulated by these agencies or UK governmental bodies.

Since Prescott is a non-traditional degree-awarding body, it's long-distance, home-study course degree programmes are not directly sanctioned by the UK government or UK educational authorities.

Q:  Tell me a little bit more about the degree-awards and qualifications obtained through Prescott University.

A: The degree-awards and qualifications obtained through Prescott University are designed to provide solid academic and career training through convenient, home-study courses. However, being a non-traditional UK institution, Prescott's degrees are not directly sanctioned by the UK government or UK educational authoritities.

Q:  Can you guarantee that all universities in the world will accept the credits I earned through Prescott University?

A:  No. We cannot guarantee that all universities will accept credits earned from Prescott, as there are many different factors involved. 

However, if you are not 100% sure that the university that you have in mind will accept credits from Prescott University, we highly recommend that you find an alternative university that will be able to offer you the guarantee that you're looking for.

Q:  Why don't I see any fees listed for your distance learning degrees?

A:  Fees vary from student-to-student, depending on the particular degree programme a student chooses. Some degree programmes require more course study materials and text book requirements than others.

Q:  What do I receive from Prescott after I pay my admission fees?

A:  We provide all the books, course-study materials, achievement exams, and everything else you'll need on your road to earning your degree.

Upon graduation, you'll receive an official Prescott University diploma, transcript, and Student Photo-ID card.
